Getting started

Lucidly is a website feedback and visual QA tool. Your team and your clients pin comments directly on a live or staging website, every comment captures a screenshot, and each one becomes a task on a built-in Kanban board so you can track it to done.

Web design and development agencies, freelance designers and developers, in-house marketing teams, and product teams. Anyone who needs clear feedback on a website before it launches, or after it changes, will feel at home.

Start a free trial, create a project, and paste your website's URL. Lucidly loads the site and finds its pages from the sitemap. Switch to comment mode, click anything on the page to leave a comment, then invite teammates or share a comment-only link with your client.

No. Lucidly loads your website from its URL, so there's no code snippet to add, no plugin, and no browser extension for you or your clients to install. Nothing is added to your live site.

Lucidly works with most websites, whatever they're built with, including Webflow, Shopify, WordPress, Framer, and custom-coded sites. Pages run inside Lucidly much like they do in a normal browser, so interactive elements such as tabs and menus keep working while you browse.

Yes. Lucidly supports password-protected Webflow staging sites and Shopify stores. When it detects the password page, it asks for the password and loads the site, so your staging site stays private while you collect feedback.

No. Lucidly needs to reach the site over the internet, so local development sites aren't supported. Deploy to a staging URL and review it there.

Lucidly reads your site's sitemap when you create a project and lists the pages it finds. You can refresh the page list at any time to pick up new pages, add pages by hand, and drag pages into the order you want to review them.

Comments and feedback

Switch to comment mode (press C), then click the exact spot on the page that needs work. Type your feedback and post it. A pin marks the spot so everyone can see exactly what you mean.

Yes. Each comment automatically captures a screenshot of what you were looking at, taken at the device size you were reviewing, with a marker showing exactly where the comment was placed. Developers get the context without having to ask for it.

Yes. Switch between desktop, tablet, and mobile views (or press 1, 2, or 3) and leave comments on each. Comments are kept per device, and the device switcher shows how many unresolved comments are left on each one.

Comment mode lets you click anywhere to leave a comment. Browse mode hides the sidebar and pins so you can click links, open menus, and use the site the way a visitor would. Press C for comment mode and B for browse mode.

Yes. Add images, documents, and other files to any comment or reply, and download them from the comment later. Guests using a comment-only link can attach files too.

Yes. You can edit your comments and replies after posting, and everyone sees the change in real time. Deleting a comment also removes its replies and attachments.

Yes. Type @ to mention a teammate, collaborator, or guest. They get a notification and an email that links straight to the comment, and they'll be emailed again when someone replies.

Lucidly remembers the element each comment was placed on, not just its position on the screen. If the layout shifts or content loads late, the pin moves with its element so it keeps pointing at the right thing.

Yes. Use Copy link on any comment in the sidebar or on the Kanban board. The link opens the right page and device, scrolls to the pin, and opens the comment.

Yes. Press Cmd+K (Ctrl+K on Windows) to search every comment across all your projects and jump straight to the one you need.

Yes. Every comment gets a ticket number within its project, shown on comment cards and the Kanban board, so it's easy to reference in a meeting, message, or commit.

Yes. The Copy for agents button copies a Kanban column or a page's comments, including page links, statuses, devices, ticket numbers, and replies, in a format AI coding assistants understand. Paste it in and the assistant has the full context.

Kanban and workflow

Every comment automatically becomes a card on the project's Kanban board, in Open, In Progress, In Review, and Resolved columns. Drag cards between columns as work moves forward, and click any card to jump to the comment on the page. The board updates live as your team works.

For website feedback, usually not. Comments, screenshots, statuses, and conversations all live in Lucidly, so you can take every piece of feedback from first comment to resolved without copying it into another tool.

Not today. Lucidly takes a different approach: feedback and task tracking live together on the built-in Kanban board. If your team needs two-way sync with an external tracker, let us know at support@lucidly.so.

Comment assignment is coming soon. Today, you can @mention a person in a comment to notify them and pull them into the conversation.

The page list shows comment counts for each page, the status tabs show how many comments are Open, In Progress, In Review, and Resolved, and the device switcher shows unresolved comments per device.

Group projects into folders, by client, by site, or however your team works. When a project is finished, archive it to clear it from your dashboard without losing anything.

The project is removed from your active list, but its comments, screenshots, attachments, and history are kept. You can find it again whenever you need it.

Teams, clients, and collaboration

A team member is someone who can be added to a team, and be given access to all project or selected projects. They function similar to a collaborator but they do not need added to each project individually.

A collaborator is anyone who is invited to work within the created project. A collaborator DOES NOT need a paid account and cannot create new projects. A collaborator has full access to the project.

A guest is someone who joins the project via the comment-only link. A guest can leave comments in real-time but cannot access the kanban.

Yes! You can share a comment-only link with clients. They can leave feedback in real-time without creating an account or paying anything.

Guests enter their name and can leave comments, reply to threads, attach files, @mention your team, and move between pages, all in real time. They see the same pins and statuses as your team, but they can't access the Kanban board.

As many as you need. Every plan includes unlimited collaborators and unlimited guests at no extra cost.

Yes. You control the link and can turn it off at any time. Anyone who opens a disabled link sees a message explaining that it's no longer active.

A workspace is a shared home for your team's projects and folders. Add team members to a workspace and they can see and create its projects without being invited to each one. You can switch between workspaces in one click. Starter includes 1 workspace, Pro includes up to 3, and Business includes unlimited workspaces.

Yes. Invite them by email. When they sign up, with email, Google, or GitHub, they join your workspace automatically.

Yes. Lucidly is multiplayer. You can see who's on the page with you, follow their live cursors, and watch new comments, replies, and status changes appear instantly.

Notifications

Lucidly keeps you posted in several ways: a notification center in the app, a live activity feed across your projects, email when you're @mentioned or someone replies to a thread you were tagged in, and a daily digest email summarizing what you missed.

A once-a-day email that summarizes new comments and activity across your projects, so you can catch up from your inbox and jump in only where you're needed.

Yes. When you @mention a guest, they receive an email with a link that takes them straight to the comment. No account is needed.

Yes. Plans are billed monthly or yearly with no long-term contract, and you can cancel anytime.

Account, security, and support

Sign up and log in with your email and password, Google, or GitHub. If you already have an account with the same email, Google and GitHub sign-in link to it automatically.

Only the people you give access to: your workspace team members, collaborators you invite, and guests who have your comment-only link. Removing someone revokes their access.

Lucidly blocks known trackers and hidden tracking frames inside website previews. Previews load faster and behave more predictably, and your review sessions don't add noise to your site's analytics.

Email support@lucidly.so or use the support form inside the app to report a bug or request a feature. Pro and Business plans get priority email support.
